Members and ghosts

In the editor, member tables are bright and known neighbors appear as translucent ghosts. Clicking a ghost or its plus button adds it and opens the next investigation step. A ghost is not a new source table. When more than ten new ghosts would appear, the editor asks for confirmation; cancelling preserves membership.

To try it in the application, create a sheet with shop.shop_orders, then add a neighbor. This differs from the public demo, whose map membership is predefined.

Highlighting and depth

1. Select a table.
2. Click the label or icon in the always visible «Навигация» (Navigation) block to toggle highlighting.
3. Choose «Все» (All), «1 шаг» (1 step) or «2 шага» (2 steps).

Depth changes the navigation presentation while preserving membership, positions and camera. «Обзор / Таблицы» (Overview / Tables) only collapses or expands groups. Navigation also works with collapsed groups, without opening them or promoting ghosts automatically.

Search, groups and visibility

Ctrl/⌘ K focuses search. Search table or column names; a name opens properties, while the separate arrow adds a table. Groups use prefixes or namespaces; properties also allow manual groups.

The eye hides an object while keeping membership. The cross removes it from the sheet after confirmation. Use «Вся база» (Entire database) to add it again, or Ctrl/⌘ Z to undo. Group N/M counts include hidden members but exclude ghosts from N.
